Wayne D. Lewis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership Studies at the University of Kentucky. He is an activist-scholar in the education reform movement. Before his career in higher education he worked as a teacher in public school districts in Louisiana and North Carolina. He currently serves as a board member for Kentuckians Advocating Reform in Education (KARE).
